Who shoots today, Monday, March 16, the mascletà in the town hall square of Valencia?
Valencia starts a new week, the big week of the Fallas, and like every day of the Josephine festivities this Monday, March 16, a new mascletà will be shot in the Town Hall Square. On this occasion, Tamarit pyrotechnics is in charge of shooting.
This year, as a novelty, all the mascletaes have a name, which gives them their own identity. Today's is called 'Mon faller'. According to the Valencia City Council, the Tamarit pyrotechnic shot will have a total of 216 kilos of gunpowder and will last 353 seconds.
How will the mascleta be?
The Tamarit pyrotechnic mascletà will start with a Valencian traca that will give way to a combination of aerial effects that will progressively accelerate and that will end with three thunders of three terrestrial digital thunder and an aerial blow. The second part will be aerial, with whistles and thunder discharges, which will be closed with a senyera. The show will end with a powerful final land earthquake in four phases and a powerful aerial bombardment prior to the final blow.
Founded in 2018 in Alfarrasí, Tamarit pyrotechnics have been shooting in the Town Hall Square since 2020. Last year, he fired on March 13 and paid tribute to the victims of the Dana with his show.
