Hi Friends from all countries...

I Think that it would be interesting to see, what kind of Fireworks you have/ or had for New Years or on which day you shoot fireworks...

Specially it would be interesting to see the specials of your country, and hear about the laws...

so i start:

Germany

Rockets: 20 gramms, 10 gramms Effect

Cakes: 200 gramms, Flash not allowed

Cracker: 6 gramms, only Blackpowder allowed

As you can see, not very funny here, so i travel a lot to foreign countrys, to shot fireworks there....

here are some pics, but NOT with german stuff, this is stuff i shot on my journeys..

USA:

500g cakes

Firecrackers have flash powder, but are limited to 50mg of "explosive composition"

Skyrockets are limted to 120mg of explosive composition. I am not sure what the complete weight of pyrotechnic material in a rocket is, but it's not very good! There are very few consumer rockets that are worth getting. The cakes and small shells are the best things to buy.

There are usually a good number of stores that will sell you small professional items, like thunder king cakes, single shots, battle of colors, or small 1.75-2" flash salutes. It is illigal to do so, but many of the stores will have them for sale under a counter, or hidden away in a secret room.. often times marked incorrectly as class C Consumer Fireworks to avoid getting the store owners in hot water with the CPSC (Consumer products safety commision) or ATF for improper storage. All in all, we have it pretty good.

Here some Videolinks, first to a german Cake, called "Dragon Fire" from Weco.
It has 19 Shots, and is one of the better german cakes. We shot 2 at the same time.

Weco Dragon Fire

Videos of german Rockets i dont have, it is not worth to put those crappy things on video :r

Now i have 2 Videos from stuff, i shot in other Countrys:

Cobra 1, 14,5 gr PTS

Sorry Freaks, had to delete the Cobra Link. Someone used Video in german Forum without asking. If Someone wants the Video, ask me i will send it to you.

Despite a maximum of 10gr effect in Germany,.. I found the Keller Stars of trinidad pretty worth the price (6 pieces for 8 euro's).. They had some nice effects.
