When can I light fireworks at Las Fallas?

First I appologise that I cannot write in Dutch.

I am going to Las Fallas this year. The only dates I can go are from 13th March to 16th March. My question is - will I be able to light fireworks in the parks on the 13th, or will I have to wait until the 15th?

The problem is, we have the same questions. Seems no-one knows 200% for sure. The Guardia Civil seems to invent their own rules from time to time.

In the park it should not be a problem. The thing is dat some people just fire to much and that cause problems.
If you keep it nice that it should not be any problem.

But fire rockets only in the dry river!!

Thank you for the information. I am glad that I will be able to light some fireworks on the Saturday & Sunday (13th & 14th). :smile1:

I will probably just use no.2 & no.3 truenos. Save the big ones for the Monday (15th).

When you say the dry river - is that near the Black Sheep pub where they have night fireworks?

Yes that river (Rio Turia).
 
Just to let you all know - I have just returned from Valencia (Saturday 13th-Tuesday16th) & had a great time! There was alot of fireworks being fired in the city, especially on Saturday & Sunday (13th & 14th).
I fired all my fireworks (mainly truenos all sizes) in the parks over all 3 days & had no problem from the police (they were in the park sometimes).
 
Yes, If you keep it safe and sound, and the posse you're firing with is not too big then the police won't bother you.

We went to the beach the 20th and that was no problem as well.
All Sound Kings and Voladores Trueno 4, 5 and 6 that we had were fired, and although the bangs weren't as hard as in the city, we had good fun.
The Arroz Negra @ L'Estimat afterwards, accompagnied with that faint odour of gunpowder residue we had on our clothes tasted great!

One of the Tracas we lit in the city, in a small street. I can truly recommend this experience!
