EP A worker who had been seriously injured in the explosion at a fireworks factory located in La Gorgoracha, in the municipality of Vélez de Benaudalla (Granada), died this afternoon at the Trauma Hospital of Granada because of multiple trauma and had large burns.
His wife remains hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the same hospital in serious condition because it also has serious burns from the blast, according to Europa Press sources of the Office of Health.
Both are a married couple from Valencia who works at the factory since June and has over 35 years of industry experience.
