On five Saturdays between May and September 2013, top teams present breathtaking fireworks displays in the baroque atmosphere of Herrenhausen Gardens.
The 23rd International Fireworks Competition will begin on 25 May 2013 with a display by this year’s winners from Portugal. Ticket sales are expected to begin in December.

There is magic in the air above the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen when the world’s best pyrotechnicians light up the night sky with their fireworks displays. The International Fireworks Competition in Hannover is one of the most prestigious competitions of its kind in the world. Five teams from around the world compete against one another every year in the baroque gardens.
And even before the fireworks start, visitors are entertained during the early part of the evening by a varied programme of live music, variety acts and theatre performances for the whole family. As dusk approaches, the excitement increases until the evening culminates in the fantastic patterns conjured up by the fireworks!
