Ryanair beperkt vluchten: las Fallas met minder tot geen Noord-Italianen
De blokkade van vluchten die door Italië zijn uitgevaardigd voor de gebieden die het meest door COVID-19 zijn getroffen, heeft Ryanair ertoe gebracht haar operatie opnieuw te bezuinigen. Naast het annuleren van binnenlandse vluchten die door het noorden van het land passeren, reduceert de luchtvaartmaatschappij internationale vluchten van of naar drie luchthavens die sinds donderdag een uitstekende verbinding met Valencia hebben: Milaan-Bergamo, Milaan-Malpensa en Treviso. Vluchten zijn beperkt tot één frequentie per dag op vrijdag, zaterdag, zondag en maandag tot 8 april. Dit betekent van de 21 geprogrammeerde wekelijkse frequenties naar slechts tien gaan. Het bedrijf bevestigt de daling van de bezettingsgraad op inkomende vluchten, maar deze links worden beschouwd als een "repatriëring" voor niet-Italiaanse bezoekers. Ryanair is de enige die naar die steden vliegt.
Overigens heeft de baas van de Comunitat Valenciana, Ximo Puig, inmiddels laten weten dat mensen uit risicogroepen (ouderen, zieken) er verstandig aan doen massa-bijeenkomsten als mascletas en de Offrenda te mijden.

The suspension of the Fallas are currently pending the meeting between the ministry of Health and the Council.
We will know this afternoon the outcome when the regional authorities analyse if it is necessary to suspend the fallas because of coronavirus.
Fallas, now yes, may be at risk. As reported by the Minister of Health, Salvador Illa, at a press conference after the Council of Ministers, it is planned that this afternoon will study together with the council the possible measures to be taken regarding the coronavirus crisis and its consequences in the Fallas suspension.
"The sole concern is the protection of public health," said the spokesperson for the central government's health portfolio. He has insisted that in any case they will be "shared decisions" that will be taken according to public health criteria.
Specifically, he said that "those events that involve large population movements will be analyzed one by one," a circumstance that includes the Valencia Fallas.
"When we have analysed it with public health criteria, the decision we will make jointly will be announced," Minister Illa concluded his speech.

Met alle mensen die elkaar kennen en graag de hand schudden, veuls te gevaarlijk. Ik hoop het niet maar het zou mij niet verbazen als ze dit levensgevaarlijke 
evenement cancellen; zeker nu de drukste laatste week eraan komt. In Amerika wordt 'social distancing' ook al geadviseerd in bepaalde gebieden. Iets dat ook al gebeurd bij oa voetbalwedstrijden.

Zou t virus ook "kapot" gaan aan kruitdampen snuiven ?

"Estamos en contacto constante con los gobiernos autonómicos. La decisión que se tome será consensuada""

Dat overleg is dus nog steeds gaande tussen Valenciaanse gemeenschap en het Spaanse ministerie van Volksgezondheid. De premier eist dus nog niet dat het wordt afgelast.

Nee hoor, valt best mee. Anders had ik het niet gedeeld toch
ik vraag mij eerder af waarom mensen niet moe worden van deze overdreven maatregelen. Maar goed; gelukkig mag men (nog) een eigen mening hebben.7 regels in Italië voor een simpel griepje;
1. Don't go outside. Don't socialize.
2. Business customers cannot be within 3 feet of one another.
3. Must get police permission to travel.
4. Cannot wait in emergency with your friend / family member.
5. Healthcare workers have to cancel their holidays.
6. Severe restrictions for visiting people in prison.
7. Mortgage payments suspended.

Dat 'elk moment' was een uur geleden ook al..... 
(totdat ze erachter kwamen dat het toch nog even zou duren i.v.m. een nog doorgaand overleg.)
Maar feit is dat de persconferentie nu dichterbij is, dan een uur geleden......
Ben al bijna 2,5 uur onafgebroken de Levante stream aan het volgen en heb mijn dosis Spaans voor deze week wel weer gehad.....
(totdat ze erachter kwamen dat het toch nog even zou duren i.v.m. een nog doorgaand overleg.)Maar feit is dat de persconferentie nu dichterbij is, dan een uur geleden......
