16-Shots cakebox in caliber 25mm with mines and burst in green strobe with deep blue Dahlia, and golden tails.
Green strobes can be better for sure, but i still like the combination with the deep blue Dahlia stars..
In the video you can see our new label for 2018. For this we had one local artist paint a typical chinese landscape, who already created hand painted labels for fireworks many years ago, before everything was done by computer. Over the trees and mountains the nightsky unfolds, and in front of the nightsky one can see the drafted effects of the cakebox.
The Topcover still shows our Funke logo, but in front of the nightsky full of stars and galaxys now.
The basic parts were put together by our german designer, and later the single individual effect pictures were added in china.
Because in china sadly the work is not so precise, and also due to time pressure, some printing was so well adjusted in the beginning and some labels are still to dark. At the later ones we corrected it, but please be aware that some pictures still look to dark or some effect paintings are not detailed enough, I have to admit that I did not expect it would be such a huge workload to create the new labels for our whole line of cakes, so for sure for next year we still have some improvement work to do regarding brightness of printing and some effect pictures and their arrangement on the labels.
We also increased the background of the text on the latest ones we printed out, because although even the first ones can be read without problem, it still looks different in video and I think anyways more contrast for the text is better.
Nontheless I am quite happy with our new design, as I think we managed to create a line of design which is quite unique, and which can show the effect of the cake to the customer, without actually showing everything already, but instead stimulates the phantasy by only showing drafts of the effects instead of extremely realistic paintings.
