Who shoots today, Wednesday, March 4, the mascletà in the town hall square of Valencia?
The Town Hall Square once again becomes this Wednesday, March 4, the epicentre of the pyrotechnic calendar of the Fallas 2026. A new mascletà will once again make the attendees vibrate: this time, those in charge of shooting it will be Dragon pyrotechnics.
This year, as a novelty, all the mascletaes have a name, which gives them their own identity. Today's is called 'Dinàmic i ritmic'. According to the Valencia City Council, the Dragon pyrotechnic shot will have a total of 160.86 kilos of gunpowder and will last 330 seconds.
How will the mascleta be?
The mascletà will begin with a Valencian traca, which will give way to five phases of aerial articles followed by a central block that will have another five land retentions accompanied by five simultaneous air phases. Then there will be an earthquake formed by more than 1,000 metres that will end with a final bombardment of aerial thunder. After him will enter the aeroterrestrial digital end culminating with a hermetic blow that can be the brooch.
Founded in 2012 in Villena, pyrotechnics Dragon has been shooting in the Town Hall Square since 2020. Last year it shot on the same day, March 4, 2025.
