21 000 Euro's per competitor. Is this enough to make a decent profit from. Shouldnt be a problem for European companies. Always can use a selection of local product and equipment and just bring your script although easier said than done.
 
The Town Council will pay a maximum amount of 21,000 euros, including VAT, per display.
If the distance between the head office of a participating pyrotechnics firm and Blanes is greater than seven hundred kilometres, Blanes Town Council will pay the firm the amount of €1,200.-, including VAT, in order to contribute to its travel expenses.
The winners of the Competition will receive the following cash prizes:

First prize ................……. €9,000.- + trophy
Second prize ........…........ €6,000.‑

These amounts will be subject to the pertinent tax withholdings and the winner will be invited to participate in the 2009 Competition.

The Council will provide each pyrotechnic firm taking part in the competition with two triple bedrooms. If the firms wish to take on such accommodation, it will have to be requested, on paper, when presenting the rest of the documents.

The Organisation will place at the disposal of the participating pyrotechnics firms a mechanical dumper in the assembly enclosure in order to facilitate the handling of the pyrotechnic material.
It will also provide a lavatory in the launching zone and non-alcoholic drinks for the pyrotechnic staff.
 
Its a very nice competition although i think the competiton in Taragonna is much better.
We have both festivals in movies online and see it yourself. But i still hope somebody will film Blanes!
 
The truth is that I think that it is not better, already side this year, I can say to you that this year an extraordinary contest, thinks that alone Blanes has 40000 inhabitants, and that the budget this year has risen, and the year that comes will raise many more. We are the second contest after Donostia, they come doing spectacles from 1906, we are the second contest more ancient of Spain, the experience supports us, and we look at the future with a lot of illusion.

You can be best of this and best of that but compare the shows and you will see what is better and bigger. So, i have learned that spanish people are very proud of the place where they come from but please dont forget not all is better and good in that place :nuts::bigsmile:. Taragonna for me is a very very good competition!

Clear That Tarragona Is A Good Contest ....... I Have Not Said The Opposite, Tarragona Is A Contest Very Good .this Year To Seeing That Such, You Have To Think A Thing Every Place Has His Captivation, When We Speak About Fireworks
