Cuba-Puerto Rico wins the contest of illuminated streets of the Fallas 2022
The Cuba-Puerto Rico commission, "la falla de la llum" has once again achieved victory in the illuminated streets contest once the verdict of the jury is known.
The rest of the distribution of awards in Category A has resulted in the second prize for Sueca-Literato Azorín, third for Cuba-Literato Azorín and fourth for Malvarrosa.
The winning lighting is an allegory of the 50-year relationship between the commission and the Ximénez company, from Puente Genil, including elements that recall previous light decorations, such as the rudder with which they presented themselves, and won, in 1972.
In category B, the first prize also repeats the winner with Duque de Gaeta-Pobla de Farnals, ahead of Cádiz-Los Centelles, which in 2020 was in the honor division.
