Pyro Spectaculars by Souza helped bring Vegas to light for the New Years celebration with city wide fireworks. The theme of the display was "Vegas Royale 2007" featuring great hit songs from the James Bond movie soundtracks, Casino Royale, Bond Theme, A View to a Kill, and Bond Techno Finale. The display lasted 5 minutes and 40 seconds fired from several rooftop locations. Comets, Candles and special "Souza Bombardos" were used to light the night sky over Las Vegas.
There has been a great use of colour such as new Lemon, Limes, Oranges and Purples. Almost a delicious set of colours that I'm sure only the Pyro reveler knew what they were looking at. Rooftop locations included MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, Flamingo Las Vegas, the Venetian, Treasure Island, Circus-Circus and the Stratosphere.
“Las Vegas is THE place to be on New Year’s Eve,” said Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman. “Each year the fireworks are more spectacular, the celebration gets more exciting, the entertainment is phenomenal, and people come from all over the world to experience it. That’s why we are known as America’s Party.”
“America’s Party has become an annual tradition in Las Vegas, and this year it is a true citywide celebration,” said LVE President Pat Christenson. “Visitors and local residents alike have come to expect a lot out of this production, and we’re glad that we can continue to solidify New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas as America’s Party.”
Attendance estimates at over 300,000 people will celebrated the New Year in Las Vegas, NV. extravaganzas around the world.
“I call this show ‘Lucky Number 7,’” says Jim Souza, show designer and president of Pyro Spectaculars, Inc. “This year’s show has more ‘fire power’ and intensity than previous years and promises to entertain the thousands of partygoers with a high energy ‘007’ theme. The display, fired from seven rooftops, will be a fitting welcome to the New Year.”
