Just thought I'd share the wonder of Satan's Pants....a home-made wheel with 4x 1Kg cones that I made a few years ago.

This was the first test fire:

....enjoy:blink1:

Well Done. Not bad for an amateur.
How many time did it cost you to made this wheel?
Thanks for sharing

Not quite an "amateur" 22 displays under my belt, winner of the first UKFR event (Newsbox Toy Boys), I also built all the set pecies there (St george & Dragon + Daleks & Tardis) also some FX work for TV (Ultimate Force & Casualty) :toung: :blink1:

The wheel takes about 1hr to make, and sits on a frame that's 6m high:smile:

Glad you enjoyed it....

I am so sorry Ambientskies. :embarrest: :embarrest:
I take my words back.
I did.nt know you before.
But now i know you. Such a great experience.

I can't really see it well, but did I see someone running to the allready burning wheel to push it a little? Seems pretty dangerous to me.

In the end it's a very nice piece of fireworks.

It was pretty scary....

I was filming and giggling? That was a test fire I will never forget.....

God knows what your neighbours thought?

But as a wheel has been used several times and worked well....will try and dig out some footage of it being fired in competition.

;-)

Firstly....

A mate of mine from the UKFR site has sent me quite a few DV tapes

Secondly...

I was filming with my stills cam, not the film you posted :blink1: to clarify things

Thirdly....

Here is the film of Satans Pants being fired in 2005

Don't know who filmed this snippet from a UKFR film.
