FC24-100-1 100 shots compound fireworks "Screaming chrysanthenum", Cal. 24mm, ca. 40 seconds, 1350g NEC, CE certified, category F2, ADR 1.3G, Packing 1/4 100 shots compound in caliber 24mm. Rapidly shooting silver screeching spinning tails, bursting with loud bangs to big silver chrysanthemum crackling combined with colored peonies in red, green, purple, yellow and blue. (The description is too long, you sadly have to translate the german text. Only a part is english:) This is a 1350g compound with the screeching spinners typical for Guangxi items, which maybe some people still know from old cakeboxes, as well as colored peonies with chrysanthemum crackling. The colors and chrys effects are actually not so good - in general the most stars which are being used in Guangxi now are stuck on the level of 1990s effects. But we intentionally chose the first items of thise line in a way, so that they contain the classic effects normally used there. The bursts are pretty loud and strong for this caliber, but not so round, as the paper tubes are quite thick (this is necessary, in order to press the screeching spinners, as Guangxi makes whistles etc without plastic tubes) - so combined with the screeching spinning tails this compound creates an impressive accoustics, which the video can´t show at all as the microphone can´t record it properly. Definately not the most beautiful compound - but one which is a lot of fun to shoot in person, and which by it´s rising effect is quite different from most other items on the market now.

Ik vind het effect geen kl##t aan.
Maar dat artwork, dat lijkt gewoon uit de tijd van de Chinese staatsfabrieken van vroegah te komen.

Leuke reactie gehad van mr Funke. Ik vertelde over dat wij vroeger Marijn vuurwerk hadden die naar mijn weten de enige waren met producten uit Guangxi en dat ze allemaal soortgelijke unieke producten hadden als dit product van het topic. Dat ik hoopte dat Funke meer van zulke producten in de toekomst kan laten maken, zoals Marijn ook had.

I know about Marijn. I never had their products, but really enjoyed watching the videos, so many unique items. Actually, when I was in Guangxi 2 years ago, I was checking all remaining export factories which we could find, and one of them made the Marijn items before, they still had a lot standing in an old showroom.
But that factory had just been closed by the government at the time; the company had a second, bigger factory though (one of the biggest I ever saw), which was still operating at this time, and I tried to find some cooperation way with them, but failed, and since then, they also gave up to renew the license of that factory, so it´s also closed now. So it´s a pity, I think the knowledge for those things is lost.
Nontheless, i will try my best to bring back some unique items. Just not easy, not many factories are left, for most types of items (such as rockets, spinners, roman candles etc) no factories can make anymore at all, lots of knowledge lost, and the remaining factories mainly make only very simple cakes now and are struggling to survive it seems. Also many other problems I don´t want to write here now, but basically, everyone says it´s only a matter of time until production there will disappear completely.
But well, everyone also thought the old style blackpowder bangers would never come back, so we shall see what can be done ;)

New batch, which I don't think is too different from the first batch. Still color stars and silver crackers with the Guangxi-typical, quite outdated formulas. But I'm in the process of changing that - the factories are quite stubborn, but if everything works out, we'll be able to have a few items made with some formulas from our old Funke-factory next year.
And there is good news - due to the reduced transport costs we were able to reduce the price by around 17% - for the end customer this means a price that is around €20+ lower if the reduced cost is passed on, which means in terms of price this compound is getting quite more attractive.

Die laatste zin vind ik wel interessant, transport kosten omlaag is dat ook van toepassing op andere importeurs in NL?

In Duitsland zo te zien wel zat nieuwe cakes in 30mm. Dus het kan wel, alleen in Nederland is het een probleem schijnbaar.

Ben trouwens wel benieuwd of ik deze (met de lagere prijs) nog tegenkom in Duitsland, misschien dat ik dan toch een ordertje plaats.
