This was announced on the official website but they took it away. But I directly spoke with the organisation and they kept it up: no commercial use of any material of the pyronale. But I think publishing it here is not a commercial use. I don't know...

Well i feel a bit dissapointed. First the message no camera's att all and now there where many cameras and the simple sentence dont use it for a commercial thing.

That is totally different then first first announcements. No we have missed this festival deu to wrong announcements.

Hi Tony and all others,

I really can understand you! We have some similar reactions on FEUERWERK.net. Just for the history where I got the informations:

- I announced on FEUERWERK.net "no problem with all filming and videoing" because this was my opinion.
- I got a call from Mr. Kehse / PYRO-ART Berlin, who had read that announcement, that this would not be true, since he agreed with the organisation, that NO videos/photos would be allowed at all, besides 2-3 official photographers, 1 TV-team and me for the videos for PYRO-ART.
- I posted that on FEUERWERK.net
- an user of FEUERWERK.net told one day later, that it was officially announced on pyronale.com
- I saw the announcement on pyronale.com and copied it to here (see above).
- some people called pyronale-press-organisation and they got the information, that private photos are allowed though, but without professional equipement, no tripods, no extra lenses.
- it was posted by the user on FEUERWERK.net.
- I posted that info here in forums (see above).
- shortly before Pyronale the announcement on pyronale.com was removed, but phone calls still said: no professional equipment, no tripods.
- at pyronale I got a shock: dozends of (small) tripods and almost 10 TV-teams and maybe 20 newspaper photographs. I did not know that before.
- it is still not allowed, to publish videos or photos - that is, what I know. But since I know Mr. Kehse personally, he allowed me, that on FEUERWERK.net all private photos are allowed to be published.

So, I am really sorry for you, this was not intended. It was for me 100% clear, that it would be checked at entrance. Some user from FEUERWERK.net sold their tickets before Pyronale, because they didn't want to come without photo/video equipment...

But remember: as far as I know, publishing is still not allowed officially without permission.

I hope you trust, it was not to damage FPM.

Till hopefully soon somewhere,
yours
Markus
