Fallas nieuwe poppen 2005

Als Fallas afgelopen is gaan ze de zelfde week weer beginnen met het bouwen van de poppen die in brand worden gestoken op 19-03 de avond van de crema .

Dit is ook altijd een serieus item , er worden miljoenen euro's uitgetrokken voor het maken van de poppen en hier geld het ook dat het een eer is als jou pop in de stad komt te staan .

Hier zie je wat foto's van poppen die in aanbouw zijn .

Hieronder zie de bouw een kleine Pop ( Infantil )

Tekeningn van de voorkant en achterkant .
De poppen staan voor een parodie op het leven .
Het is dan ook leuk om het Fallas museum te bezoeken waar je heel veel poppen die van het vuur gered zijn ziet staan .

Deze tekening is van de Falla die gebouwd word en op het stadhuisplein geplaats word ( Plaza del Ayuntamiento)

Deze word als allerlaatste in brand gezet op de avond van de CREMA . Dit gaat gepaard met vuurwerk zoals een mascleta in het donker met veel sier ...

Zo zeg zijn ze daar nu al mee bezig?

Het is natuurlijk zo dat weten de meeste mensen ook maar toch: het idee dat zij er ongeveer ook een heel jaar mee bezig zijn en daar dus eigenlijk alleen maar naar uitkijken, zie het hetzelfde als wij hier doen in Nederland om het hele jaar uit te kijken naar die ene dag:9~ .

Ik vind het knap van die mensen in Fallas om er ieder jaar toch weer iets spectaculairs van te maken.

Als je kijkt naar de fruit en bloemen corso's die in her en der in Nederland worden gehouden, dan beginnen ze al met de wagen, als de corso net voorbij is.
Je moet echt vroeg aan de gang als je weer met een goeie wagen voor de dag wilt kopen.

Dit zelfde geld natuurlijk ook voor de poppen die ze gebruiken op het fallas festival.
Je kunt beter zo vroeg mogelijk mee beginnen.
Want stel je voor net niet op tijd klaar ben.......

Trouwens van wat voor soort materiaal zijn die poppen gemaakt..... piepschuim.

Usually factories make several small or medium size fallas. Only a few important artist made just one special section falla and probably one special section child falla.

These pictures are about the making of the city council falla, out of contest. Usually the most important, but not the most expensive one. This year again Nou Campanar is spending a lot of money.

Theme of this falla
"I tú que pintes?" "what do you paint?"
also in spanish has a second meaning.. "what do you do?" or "what are you here for?"

In the pictures a gigantic Menina, as those that appear in some masterpieces of Velazquez will be part of the central body.


The pictures, the painters, the art, history, from the caverns to the present time, they are modeled in cork under the hand of Alexander.


The face of the painter, part of the falla central body, it already has the expression between genius and madness that characterizes the great artist.
Between a fine cork snow some ninots of the different scenes can be distinguished.A prehistoric animal, a caveman painter, one lady... in the center, like presiding over the good march of the work surrounded by a great scaffold.


The artist Joan Blanch was specially deluded with this infantile municipal monument.

it is a recreation to the most amused style of this young artist of everything that happens in the old river bed of the
river that divides the city.

Children sleeping, playing the ball, in bicycle, toboganes, sand,kites... all the children who approach to this falla are going to see reflected in it, that is the main objective of its artist to reflect in the most faithful and amused way the infantile world.

'A Falla for the height record'

Manolo Garci'a will plant the highest monument of history in Na Jordana with 30.88 meters, and hopes to enter the Guinness' Book

The factory of artist Manolo Garcia, who makes the carpentry of falla Na Jordana, is impregnated of aroma of wood of fir, poplar and Russian pine, this last its favourite to work with complicated designs. He will use a total of 100 cubic meters of these woods.

The imaginative project contemplates the recreation of the old district of El Carmen. Everything a nostalgic vision of the past in contrast to the present in which is the lyricism and the satire.


The soul of the Falla
The factory of Manolo Garcia registers a lot of movement. Enormous pieces of carpentry, the soul of the falla are finished, and they are stored in a contiguous warehouse.

"It is the only way which we can move here inside. As the pieces are so great it is necessary to remove them to another place. The Falla has 1,500 square meters of scenery, as they are the facades of the old houses ", indicated to Manolo Garcia.
