Ik ga ook, net geboekt! Goedkope aanbieding gevonden van Transavia, 14 heen, 19 terug. 19 kan ik de Mascleta nog meemaken, ik vlieg dan 's avonds. De Crema dus een keer niet.
Ik overnacht in Rooms Deluxe, ergens langs de bedding niet al te ver van metrostation Alameda af waar de avondshows zijn. Ik hoop, dat dat hotel hoog genoeg is (ik ben die van de flat zoals jullie weten).
Ik ga dit keer weer alleen, de vrienden die vorig jaar meegingen kunnen als het goed is niet.

maat van me wil op de bonnefooi liftend richting Valencia..

at this moment the prices are low due to the economic crisis. So i think there is alot to find. But what is affordable for you?
Zenith Valencia - This one has a nice discount and its really only 5 minuts walk to the mascleta. I think there is almost no better place to stay. I have been in this hotel last year to see the opening of Fallas and i was really nice.
From 15th March till 20th March = €664,- = $841,-
That looks like a really nice place. I'm looking for something a little cheaper though-willing to sacrafice some amenities to keep it under $100US/night. Still looking around...
I've never been to Valencia before. Where do most of the events take place? I'd like to get a room thats close to everything, but I really don't mind walking if it can save substantial $$. Any other advice for a pyro who is going for the first time?

Then you need to check out these hostels. The red is at the best place for all the fireworks but the purple still had 4 person mixed bedrooms (The purple only 6 person mixed). The price is around the 400 euro. Both are in very nice places to see all of the Las Fallas festivities.

Ok, thanks. I'll keep them in mind. So, where are the best fireworks displays/mascletas located? I found a program that says there is a daytime mascleta at 2PM everyday in the Plaza de Ayuntamiento and night displays at Paseo de la Alameda from the 15th-19th. Anything else worth seeing?
Yes NJPyro, this is 24/7 party with many many fireworks. The laste 2 days of the festival (18 and 19 March) there are around the 700 small to big and bigger firework displays. Its really the capitol city of fireworks.
At this moment i have no other information about the sub-shows but believe me when i say that when you walk on the street you will find very easy the fireworks display set-up's.
