Championships - Help

I am trying to put togethere a list of all the championships around the world that claim to be THE 'World' or 'Asian' or 'European' or 'American' etc....championships. Just how many are there?

Would appreciate any help...I have started a list, but I am sure there are some I don't know of....

World pyro olympics in manila (almost like a championship)

Certainly Montreal should be on the list. Possibly Vancouver also.
