Rockets are most likely too expensive now to be imported. I heard last week from a big player in Belgium they do not expect new rockets to come over from China this year.Yea they got it out in time but lost quite a lot of the normal sale.
I think that it will happen by it self with the EU-Regulations.
Yeah we have F3 (not in compounds though)
The main difference is going to be cakes aren't allowed to be 1.000 NEC but now only 500 NEC. That is probably not going to make a big difference as compounds are allowed up to 2.000 gram.
Fountains are also going to be reduced from 750 gram to 500.
The Rockets are still going to be 75 gram, although some companies have said they are trying to get away from rockets

That's why they banned them here. That's interesting
They have talked for a few years now about stopping the usage of rockets, reasoning they are too dangerous and unreliable
That's why they banned them here.
Same with candles, firecrackers and singleshots.
Are firecrackers/bangers still legal in Denmark?
Sounds familiar!Nope. Haven't been legal since the late 80s.
Single shots and candles are still legal, but they are probably gonna disappear soon. Especially candles are always in the Media around new years because of the not intended way to use them
Yeah it sucks that some people have to ruin the fun for everyone else...Sounds familiar!
sad to read you have the same problems
One is Mermaid. You said there were 2 major brands in Denmark. Can you give me some names, and maybe a good webshop?
I'm verry curious. Since I never noticed or know something about the Danish market.
Well 2 major importes. The largest is http://www.fyreks.dk/ who delivers to a lot of different Supermarkets and other stores as well as some fireworks brand stores (Royal Fireworks, First Class Fireworks, Krudtteltet etc.) They also have ca. 5 no name brands. You said there were 2 major brands in Denmark. You can buy from December 15th until December 31st.Wellcome here Kjartan, it's good to have some international fireworks lovers on the forum.
Very interested information you have given so far.
Can you tell us more? As above allready asked:
-what are the rules about buying and selling fireworks?
Here in the Netherlands we have nowedays many companies who sell fireworks as an extra, while their core-business is something completely different. Many of them have websites where it is possible to order fireworks year round, but by law it's only legal to pick them up the last 3 days of the year. ( except the last 2 shitty years).
-What are the legal hours to light off fireworks F2, F3? Here only 8 hours a year. (31st of december 18.00 untill 02.00).
-How crazy is Denmark in generall about fireworks ? Do many people buy them? The netherlands really love them, many foreigners think we are crazy. Which is partly true, but a couple of years ago I've celebrated new years eve on Iceland and by far it was more insane there.
I think only around 50% of house holds buy fireworks, but there have lately been a increase of how much is bought. Sales are around 450 million DKK (ca. 60 Million Euro) with a population of ca. 5,8 million people.
Serious option to book an extended christmas holiday in Denmark and return before 31th december.Sadly no
