Silver ghost whistles changing to red tails to loud titanium salutes.
Traditionally, many crazy sound effects came from Guangxi - including the first deep howling whistle batteries ("ghost whistles") that I know of. Unfortunately, there is hardly anyone left who still produces this effect here now. Also, those are recently hardly available on the market anymore in general, which is mainly because all such batteries from Hunan/Jiangxi in recent years have used plastic tubes for the whistles, which is no longer permitted under the new CE standard.
Accordingly, the "Scream Cake" already has whistles in paper tubes.
Unfortunately, this (and the currently high transport costs) also makes it more expensive. However, we used the other construction method with cardboard tubes to add a bright red tail as an additional effect before the salute after the whistle, and we also used particularly thick-walled cardboard tubes for the salutes to achieve a good sound.
I am very happy with the result - the ghost whistles could burn a little longer, but we are already at the 500g limit for the powder-weight in category F2, so the whole thing is fine.
