Ik kwam vanavond een artikel tegen op de website van Las Provincias (en ook Levante), waarin wordt vermeld dat Pirotecnia Caballer (Vicente) uitstel van betaling heeft aangevraagd. De rechtbank heeft daarmee ingestemd en geeft Pirotecnia Caballer 1 maand de tijd om, middels de aangestelde Notaris/Administrateur orde op zaken te stellen en een oplossing te vinden met de schuldeisers.

Volgens Vicente bedraagt de schuld maar 10% van alle bezittingen van het bedrijf. Hij hoopt dan ook middels deze manier orde op zaken te kunnen stellen en het bedrijf weer gezond te krijgen.

Pirotecnia Caballer is opgericht in 1880 en is daarmee het oudste (nog bestaande) vuurwerkbedrijf van Spanje. Het heeft meer dan 100 werknemers in dienst en heeft vestigingen in Lliria en in Turís, waar de fabriek staan.

Het zou zonde zijn als er weer een vuurwerk bedrijf in Valencia zou omvallen en al helemaal een bedrijf met zo'n historie. Dat zou eeuwig zonde zijn idd. Maar jouw stuk zo lezend, lijkt het erop dat ze erbovenop gaan komen. 10% is te doen.
