The Norwegian town of Søgne has set a new Guiness World Record for holding the biggest ever fireworks display.
The tiny town fired off 540,382 rockets to claim the title which was set by Dubai last year, The Local reported.
Officials from the Guinness World Record were on hand to give the attempt their seal of approval.
The show went off in joint celebration of the town's traditional switching on of the Christmas lights with around 15,000 people turning out to enjoy both events.
Acquiring the fireworks was something of a group effort, with Norway calling on Sweden and Finland to help them out.
Søgne is a small coastal town in Norway's south with a population of just over 10,000.
