I have no idea what Tony said above. :)

I will post the little bits and pieces that I know (in English obviously) so everyone else can get a clue what the movie is about.

This display was the first of PGI 2006, happening on Sunday evening August 6th. The people who designed and shot this show are all fireworks enthusiasts who belong to the Wisconsin Pyrotechnic Arts Guild (www.wpag.us). This guild (as most guilds) is a small non-profit organization for people who simply love fireworks. The member dues, and any income the guild makes typically all goes to pay for insurance dues and permits for open shooting during club meets. It was a great show, with tons of product.. but consider that a group of enthusiasts with a very limited budget made it happen (not a big company) and it seems even more impressive. I love seeing the guild shows myself. :w

The rumor was that there were approx 2000 shells in the show and another 2000 shells in the
finale!

999,

A small translation for the Toon part:
He wrote that this show contains a lot of single shots, mines, and - Toon's favorite item - the Falling Leaves, especialy the purple ones.
Also the gas container bombs can be seen followed by several nice silver willows. The final was sensational, a lot of fireworks were shot.

We in The Netherland can only dream of making and shooting our own fireworks... Our country is to dense crowded and knows a lot of very strickt rules against fireworks. The only thing we can burn without getting caught are the grass filled ones. :7

What a great show, with actually 2 crazy finale's.... very suitable music (in the hall of the mountain king from grieg's peer guint suite) for a crazy finale like that :p

I believe they said 3800 shells total with 2500 in the finale alone. I helped set it up, so it made it that much more rewarding. I worked on the left side of the finale shells(from viewing), and setup some of the smaller handmade pieces like the flash pots and gerbs. I was happy to hear how much everyone enjoyed it.

That finale was really sick! Even more impressive to know that it was all setup (and probably paid for) by volunteers. The fuel bombs are a rare sight in Holland. I can recall to have only seen it in a show one time over here.
Thanks for posting.

Waaa, that final is insane! Just seeing all those tails of the shells going up and the complete pandemonium they evoke...terrific!
To see that a group of enthousiasts can do a show like this is really great! Very well done!
