The fault-Literato Azorín Cuba won first prize ahead of the winner in the last 19 years - Father wins Mislata Santonja of decorated streets. The Cuba-Literato Azorin Falla, with a montage of 850,000 light bulbs and a budget of 200,000 euros, was awarded the first prize for lit streets in category A, according to jury's verdict issued by the Central Board Fallera.

The second prize was awarded to Swedish-Literato failure Azorin, who has seen his career truncated first prize in this mode for the past 19 years. The Cuba-winning lighting Literato Azorin, conducted by the Italian Lucio Mariano, consists of 600,000 microbombillas, 250,000 LED bulbs and 40,000 Swarovski crystals.

The assembly of the second prize, by the Italian company De Cagna for Swedish-Literato Azorin, consists of 350,000 LED lights and 170,000 incandescent. 2010 will be remembered as the year that, in light of the bulbs, were unleashed passions. The best streets are one block, there is an effect called for hundreds of thousands of people closer together through streets that at any other time of year, barely remembered by oriental shops.

[IMGL]http://mas.levante-emv.com/fallas/images/stories/cuba_azorin.jpg[/IMGL]The three committees (Swedish, Cuba-Cuba-Literato Azorin and Puerto Rico) have made a monumental gamble. For an attraction that just makes money. In any case, from a house sponsor. But the lights do not pay entry. And if the committees have done the same companies. Anywhere else would have spent a few minutes far greater. Mariano (Cuba-Literato Azorin), De Cagna (Swedish-Literato Azorin) and Ximenez (Cuba-Puerto Rico) have taken it as a personal issue.

He has not missed a dose of controversy and dirty war during the run. Crosses statements and adhesions, particularly between the two faults Azorín Literato street. Cuba-Puerto Rico has remained in that sense, in the background, going to his and without putting the outcry when, overnight, forced them to relocate their home.

The remaining prize in Category A failures were for Cuba-Puerto Rico, Convent Jerusalem Marzal Math and Engineering Career Malilla-Joaquin Benlloch.

In category B, the first prize went to the Duke of Gaeta failure of Farnals-Puebla, the second to Canaries Penat Rat-Lo and the third to Bishop Amigo-Cuenca.

In decorated streets, the first prize was awarded to Father Cardenal Benlloch-Santonja, the second for General Framework Merenciano Llorens-Doctor and the third for Mariano Benlliure-Acequia de Tormes.

Street Light Battle Heats Up!

Okay — we admit it. We spoke way too soon when announcing that Sueca-Literato Azorín was “obviously” going to win the annual Lights competition.

We hadn’t yet seen Cuba-Literato Azorín’s lights in all their glory! When we saw them the first time, they were only half-lit, and unimpressive. But when they’re totally on… woah. Check out the pics.

So, Sueca has a legitimate competitor this year! And it could be close — Sueca’s are probably more audacious, but there’s something special about Cuba’s. They’re easier to stare at… and just might pull out the victory. Sorry for jumping the gun! Enjoy the pics… and get down to Ruzafa to enjoy these incredible displays!
