I wish Norway didn't have those stupid rules, like -
NO crackers\single shells over 100mm etc

and it is only possible for people to buy fireworks from 27-31 dec.

then some stupid guy in Norway said, we should try to only sell fireworks from 30-31.
Because there are so much accidents etc (shooting on houses, cars other peoples etc)

it is gonna be chaos ..

oh well, i hope they are aware of what's gonna happend. |:(

Well they have the same shitty rules over here in Holland. We can only buy from 29-31 december, but what's the most stupid thing is over here is the restricted powder in our fireworks overhere. For batteries its 200 grams and for rockets it's only 40 grams i believe in Norway the powder contents in fireworks is much more isn't it??

Wow, that sounds very nice. You also can´t buy multiple shells here with a tube. only these 1 shot thingies, with a very small caliber (not even close to 100 mm)
But only 2 days of selling is bad, extremely crowded then I think. It´s 3 days here in holland and it is already "quite busy".

On the bright side - atleast you have a short time when you can legally buy fireworks. Many states in the US will not sell fireworks any day of the year, it's all illigal all the time. Sounds like you can get higher powder contents and bigger shells also.

100mm shells? That is 4" I believe! geez, these are considered professional fireworks in the US and everyone who gets them has to have a federal liscence to buy them. They must be stored in magazines or bunkers with nothing else near by, and transported / classified as EXPLOSIVES. Even the states with the loosest laws are only supposed to sell 1.75" shells to regular people. Selling 4's to the public seems nuts, a 3" shell can take your hand off coming out of the gun and half your arm when it explodes, figuring you can get salutes anyway.

Maybe you have it better than you think. Imagine never being able to legally buy them where you live.

Well, I guess you have to praise yourself, you lucky bastard ;)
We can only dream about cakes having 1 kg powder on board... :9

Pfewww, I wish we had those things legally.. Anyway, please don´t be upset because, in my opinion, your government is doing it quite well. :D
