'Only 31' injured during firework spectacular

It has been reported that some 31 people have been injured in the annual 'Corda' festival in the town of Paterna on the outskirts of Valencia.
This involves about 200 people setting off almost 70,000 fireworks during a 25 minute pyrotechnic display.
Almost all of the injured were spectators, who received slight burns, whilst two of those who set off the fireworks also received slight injuries, but no one required hospitalisation.
Festival organisers stated that the numbers of those slightly injured in the fiestas this year "showed a considerable improvement" over 2005, when 40 people were hurt.
