.....sorry been away, mixture of this section dissapearing for a while my computer blowing up and just being very busy........ got some interesting new material to post up soon.

My trip to Fallas this year year is again a no goer ...its alright for you guys with the Euro, but we are being screwed with the £ so it has become just too exspensive.....I have a little hope of a last minute deal but I'm not holding my breath..... Almost certain to be at Alicante so not total disaster...

I see madbob hasn't posted his new films link (I may have missed them elsewhere) up I'm sure he won't mind me posting this link, great movie.....wasn't here for this one, he says it was one of the best if not the best and loudest he has ever seen.........please address all praise to madbob!!!!

Just shortly after the english section came back online. Coincidence?

And also good to see this mascletá again.
This mascletá really amazed a lot of people (also Valencians). The set-up area was so small, but perfectly used. And besides that the rhythm was superb. Oh, wait... it was also LOUD! I was standing exactly in front of it (with my back to the Falla), but in the end I couldn't hold on and had to turn my back to the mascletá. My ears are still ringing. ush:

Definitely a slow start, but towards the middle and absolutely the end were perfectly loud and intense. Good show even though the launch site did in fact seem very tight in amount of space. Enjoyed getting to see one of the pyrotechnicians light the fuse for the aerial finale, for some reason I really enjoy seeing how other technicians light fireworks to get an idea for myself when I go shooting shows this coming very soon American firework season.

Thanks for posting that awesome video.
It's one i've been looking for.
That was our last Masceleta of 2008.
The echo seemed to last forever.
I know that 1 of our guys lost his balance & had to go & sit down.

I can't make it out this year.
But we will be back for 2010:bigsmile:

That was a great mascleta, very very loud.
Here's a video of this years one at the same site, not quite as good, but still a great street mascleta. Ear ringing stuff indeed.
