What makes a good finale. Duration, content, lead in, false finale, salutes, shell size, music? Please share you thoughts or vids here.

The classic finale is a Brocade one. This is what I use but am getting tired of it, want to try something new.

Well I think the following finals are great;

1) Stepper from single shots tosalute finale (gamma-p/vaccaluzzo) uses this often for their finals

2) Some stututa's shot with a sequenser (also something from gamma-p/vaccaluzzo)

Look at tarrangona movies and then gamma-p and you will know what I mean

The sky-filling "(gold)rain-finale" is still one of my classic favourites.....

I'm sure he will, nothing worse than to get bored.....

It might be hackneyed but a great final is one that gets the crowd on their chairs (provided that they have them).

If you're not as privileged to have a crowd (but I'm sure once you'll start shooting off some, attention is mounting) it is whatever makes you feel gobsmacked.

And in the end all roads lead to Rome, but what makes a final a good one in my perception is shock and awe.
Start off easily, plain stars ascending, with willows above, gold and blue is a magical combination (at least to me) blue Roman Candle stars with silver tails with golden willow above. Building intensity and size makes people aware the lid on pandora's box will be raised anytime soon now.
I particularly like reports, flash, and yessir to titanium salutes. To me the unfolding panorama of ever more shells slowly conquering the complete horizon is the best way to get me running for the hills.
The noisier the better. And the best is the multiple launch of colorfull peonies/brocades/willows with salutes topped off with two huge shells adjacent to each each other.

If you want to feed them until they're satified, you gotta have decent icing on the cake: salutes and two massive blows.....(pun intended? maybe...)

But hey, you're the Puppet-master, you get to decide.

I like the false finale with a single shot/or candle barrage, in Holland I don't see that much candles anymore and no single shots at all!!!

My fav one is a thunderous finales of Titanium Salute & Whistle Mines with Larges Green Farfalles Shell and Italians Green/Report Shell. I loves that style !!
