The Aurora Fire Department confirmed today that juveniles with fireworks were the cause of a 2-alarm fire at the Hickory Ridge apartment complex, 17112 E. Adriatic Place, on Sunday.
Initial damage estimates have been set at $600,000 and there is a possibility those estimates could rise.
It is estimated that 16 units were damaged or involved in varying degrees and 30 to 40 occupants were displaced.
The investigation continues to focus on potential suspects.
