The Government of Malta issues Category A licences for persons qualified to manufacture and supervise the manufacture of fireworks, Category B licences for assistants to persons holding licence A, and Category C licences for persons authorised to let off fireworks under the supervision of a person in possession of a Category A licence.

In Belgium you don't need a certificate or licence for shooting profesional fireworks. Any compagny who has a licence to stock professional fireworks can shoot it too. You need a assurance and the permission of the community for having a display that they. You need also a special authorisation for the transport of professional fireworks. If you don't have a ADR vehicul EXII, you can't transport the goods. No transport means no shooting.

In Holland it's almost the same as in France. You'll take about 4 days of theory and 1 day practice (exam for both) and then you will be KIWA certified. KIWA is a institute for certifications for many industrial purposses.

The course is expensive and useless. Experience is much better and ofcourse a little luck to work at a fireworks display company.

You also need to work at at least 10 shootings before you receive the kiwa certificate .
