Een mascletà heeft normaal gesproken één terremoto (letterlijk vertaald: aardbeving), alhoewel die wel uit meerdere (aaneensluitende) delen kan bestaan.
Wat ik denk is dat er in dit geval bedoeld wordt is dat de terremoto uit 6 "secties" zal bestaan, mogelijk ook met een toenemende hoeveelheid lijnen per sectie. (Dit is wat ik vermoed, ik weet het uiteraard niet zeker.)

Hij melde me dit jaar toch echt heel Turia te gaan vermijden met het zelf afsteken, omdat de politie heeft aangekondigd dit jaar toch echt flink te gaan handhaven, mogelijk met controles. En dat er een verbod zou zijn voor heel Turia.

Like every year, the use of pyrotechnic articles is regulated by the Fallas faction, which includes the hours and locations where firing firecrackers will be prohibited. In fact, this action could lead to sanctions by the Local Police.
Thus, according to the document published by the Valencia City Council, recreational fireworks products used by individuals may be used in the following time slots:
- From March 1 to 10: from 07:30 to 22:00.
- From March 11 to 19: from 07:30 to 02:00

Zo te zien aan de foto wordt hij dus gehouden op de parkeerplaats bij het basketbalstadion, een stuk(je) ten zuiden van Ruzafa. Uit ervaring kan ik zeggen dat het valt te lopen vanuit Ruzafa, maar ik denk dat als je iets verder weg zit, een fiets toch wel aan te raden is!

Als je overigens nog een +-400 meter verder doorloopt/fietst richting het zuiden, dan kom je opeens bij de "grens" waar de stad (hoogbouw/flats) ophoudt en je opeens richting "open velden" en kleine huisjes kijkt; een heel surrealistisch gezicht, met aan de ene kant die hoge flats en aan de andere kant "het platte land", met akkerbouw en bebouwing die aan kleine dorpjes doet denken.
Ik ben eens een keer overdags die kant op gelopen en daar één van die "dorpjes" ingelopen en dat is echt een bizar contrast; op een paar honderd meter sta je ineens voor je gevoel in 'the middle of nowhere' in plaats van het grote Valencia!

De afgelopen zaterdag afgelaste editie van de macromascleta manual zou aanvankelijk om 18.30 uur beginnen, maar daar werd later 19 uur van gemaakt. Overigens 130 mannen en vrouwen aan de start, dat is niet gering.
