Afgelopen Oktober zijn we meegenomen door onze contactpersoon naar een zeer aparte broodjes/bier restaurantje. De zaak waar wij zijn geweest was buiten het centrum en eigenlijk te ver weg om even iets te gaan eten. Maar ze hebben er nu ook 2 geopend in het centrum van Valencia en willen we jullie deze informatie niet onthouden.

Wat kan je er eten ?
Je kan er kiezen uit 100 verschillende tapa broodjes. Er is echt van alles te krijgen zoals vis, zoetigheid en vlees. Al is het fijn als je een kleine beetje Spaans begrijpt zodat je niet allemaal verkeerde broodjes besteld. Wat ook leuk is om te doen is een mixed plate te bestellen. Hier krijg je dan zo een 10 a 20 broodjes op die verschillend belegd zijn.

Wat kost een broodje ?
€1,- per stuk

Wat te drinken ?
Zoals je kan zien aan de naam wordt hier bier (cerveza) geschonken en die is ijs en ijs koud...Uiteraard hebben ze ook water en frisdranken.

100 montaditos

there are a lot everywhere now. Recently one opened by the side of my work. Now we drink our morning coffee there as it's the cheapest place, 1 euro for the cofee and the haven't raised the prices in january as every place do.

I have eaten in one of those 100 montaditos from time to time. It's a good option when everything is packed because they normally serve fast and you can order to take away in case that all the tables are taken.

It's probably the cheapest option for eating.

Seems that it's a great variety with 100 montaditos, montadito= small montado, montado = small bocadillo or half bocadillo, bocadillo=sandwhich. but it's a combination of about 10 ingredients taken by one or two.

Other options for fast food: mcdonalds, burger king, kebaps, pans & company, bocatta....
Not fast food but somehow spanish style franchises: cañas y tapas, lizarran, gambrinus

More international: vips
American style: foster hollywood,
Mexican style:cantina mariachi
Italian style: ginos


My favorites are for each type: 100 montaditos, kebap, lizarran, vips, ginos

Wij gaan zelf de 15de altijd op het strand eten met een vaste groep vrienden. Dus deze dag zullen we er niet bij zijn, althans als de jongens weer mee willen naar het strand. We hebben nog wel de 16de in de middag vrij (eek) . Misschien kunnen we dan iets doen.

Wij hebben beide zaken uitgeprobeerd en is prima bevallen!!!
Heerlijke broodjes voor een goede prijs, ook is de drank en olijven betaalbaar en lekker smullen ! Ook kwam ik in het winkelcentrum bij de Carrefour ook zo'n zaak tegen dus de keten groeid aardig. Aanradertje, volgend jaar weer !

Hallo freaks

for your next visit to Spain

100 montaditos has raised prices and changed completly the list of Montaditos (small sandwhiches).
Now there are 90 montaditos for 1,20euro each and 10 for 1,50 each

Haven't tried yet but the new ingredients seems to be better.

There are also small toast for breakfast, everybody ask for the toast with tomato and olive oil (andalucia breakfast style)

At least coffee is still 1euro (having a coffee break everyday in 100Montaditos next to my job)

When i'm in my lovely city, i going out with my Spanisch friends to Lizzaran, to eat the famous "Pinchos" . It's a good place to enjoy the afternoon.

jeje i love Lizarran too, despite it's more expensive, 'tapas' are more elaborated.
'Pinchos' or 'Pintxos' is the name for 'tapas' used in the north of spain. Lizarran is a Navarra (north of spain) based chain of restaurants. That's why you may find a lot of San Fermin (pamplona famous fiesta) related stuff as decoration in those restaurants.

Menu of the day wasn't expensive and can take 3 pintxos as first.
There are always some wines offered everyday, and also cider.

There is one Lizarran near my job and have eat several times there. I used to have coffee there, and despite it was the best in the area, it wasn't cheap (1,10 and raised to 1,20 i think) it was always full of people smoking and we changed to the new 100Montaditos which is closer to my job, and there is less smoke in the ambient, and coffee is worst but cheaper.
