I don't know what to say Malte. Really. I know of the whole situation in CHina, I know what happened during Covid, after Covid (which to my mind was even worse with you having to go to the consul of Germany in China or something, you know what I am talking about). What I meant was actually mostly directed at the precedent you alluded to. So prices are very high, mostly due to an overheated CHinese market (due to high national demand) which waxes and wanes over years always. So if you accept the high prices now, that will be the starting point of the negotiations next year regardless if these prices reflect costs of materials, labour etc. and you are not willing to do that. Which of course is in the favour of the enduser all in all. It seems this at least in part means we cannot buy Funke compounds with 100+ shots.
Another point: there is no presence in NL. Again I think I am pretty well versed in why you chose to leave the market in 2020 and I surely understand the reasons. So you opted to stock shops near the border (in Belgium and Germany) well for the Dutch customer. But for quite a few of us that still means a 100-300 km trip and people are weary of police controlling them. 25 Kg or more means all your FW will be ceased. That is ONE Funke compound. So it is the distance and it is the risk involved to quite a few that makes travelling abroad for fireworks less than ideal. So Riakeo (Crappy Family Fireworks must ring a bell ;-)) or anyone else getting us quality that is close to Funke at a price that is similar is adding something to our domestic market. Surely with the likes of "Lousli" (I can do it too it seems haha) and others who basically do not care about the higher-end enduser. Same effects all the time is one thing, but not even the remotest clue (to my mind) that a compound are not just 100+ single shots put together with fuse and shot one after another is another one.
One positve thing is may be that you feel the need to respond here. Again; what I wrote is from a Dutch enduser perspective. I understand that your problems now are not the Dutch market, but I (and I can say: we) hope that you will return and try to make the most of our market. So rocket and "böller" according to you are prerequisite for a true fireworks market. You once noted that. I do not see how that would stop you or anyone else to produce unrelated fireworks (cakes and compounds for instance) for that market. With a cage around it, you can get 1,3G everstill in NL I think once things become stable again, you should reconsider.
