Why is it the biggest comp in the world? What is the budget for each show.

Every item needs a name and it need something to attract people. So they called it the biggest Festival in the world. But there are many more that are as big as caput lucis or even bigger. Caput Lucis is well known for his qaulity and big shows. Budgets are not known by us.

But i think the competition organisation have a basic budget for each competitor. How much is this ? Normally this is made public.

yes, this can be made public. The basic budget is 20,000 euro. for a 20 + minutes show.
Then you have to keep in mind the transportation expenses, local permits etc.
It involves a lot of logistics behind a show !!!

MAY I KINDLY ASK AGAIN IF THERE WILL BE SOMEONE FROM THIS FORUM TO ATTEND ?
SO MAYBE HE CAN VIDEO OUR SHOW TO BE SECURE THAT SOMEONE HAS TRUELY FILMED IT ??

St. Mary Fireworks Factory - Mqabba - Malta has won the Caput Lucis 2007 event. Video and pictures of this fireworks display are on the website www.santamarija.com

FESTIVAL FIREWORKS (England) has been awarded the second place, while PIROTECNIA ZARAGOZANA (Spain) has been awarded the third place.

In the next hours I will be uploading some photos of the displays that I had the oppurtunity to assist to !

The scores are not in My hands yet. We scored 77 out of 80 points. We nearly got full marks from each judge.

Will be in Plymouth next week for a look.
On a different note have you booked up for fallas 2008 ?

I have the floor of an apartment booked for next year, so taking a blow up bed :bigsmile: it seems to be bloomin exspensive next year all round. Look forward to catching up soon, hope to be in Plymouth next week for at least one of the nights. We can both have a rest and watch this year :blink1: .
