Volgens mijn spion welke in valencia zit op dit moment (Michel G) is het hek geen centimetertje gegroeid.
Denk dat er met die 2 meter, een extra 2 meter afstand van het 2e (oranje) hek word bedoeld, maar definitief uitsluitsel zullen we daar zondag over hebben.

Ander opvallend stukje uit de krant is wel het stukje over de veiligheids afstanden, hierin word gezegd dat de veiligheidsafstand voor castillo's naar 300 meter gaat ipv 100 meter, en dat de mascletàs onaangetast blijven onder de nieuwe regels.
Over een kleiner kaliber word hier echter met geen woord over gesproken.

Da's een goede mogelijkheid! Hang bij elk veld een gestructureerd vlindertuintje en noem het een Mascleta Colores/Nocturna i.p.v. Castillo.
Leve de buigzaamheid van reglementen!

Dat is wel een hele goeie manier om het te te omzeilen idd. Nou maar hopen dat ze zelf ook zo creatief kunnen denken.

Hopsa! Vers terug uit Valencia!

Afgelopen 4 dagen alleen maar temperaturen gehad van boven de 20 graden en zon, maar kan merken dat ik weer terugben, wat een takkeweer.......

In ieder geval: Hek was gister, tijdens de Mascleta('s) nog identiek aan vorig jaar. Zeker geen 2 meter gegroeid, misschien 2 CENTImeter? Ik had ook niet de indruk dat de gele hekken verder naar achter stonden, was volgensmij nog altijd zelfde afstand als vorig jaar, alhoewel ik dat niet helemaal zeker wil zeggen.

Ik had overigens wel het gevoel dat Valenciana nog bezig is geweest hun 2" salutes te verbeteren! Dingen gingen voor mijn gevoel nog hoger en kwam nog een stuk meer druk en diepere/doffere knal van af. Klonken in ieder geval heerlijk! Nog maar paar weekjes wachten........

Er gingen er uiteraard weer 2 vooraf, op 10 en op 5 minuten, en was echt even verrast hoe hoog ze gingen. Stond veel te laag te kijken en gingen opeens stuk hoger dan verwacht! Zeker in combinatie met een hele goede doffe knal met veel druk, begon ik te twijfelen of het geen 3" was. Ik had bij de opbouw echter gewoon 2" zien staan, dus waren toch echt de 50mm (uiteraard).

Bij de afsluiting van de desperta stonden er in de bombardeo toch 2 rekken van 75mm buizen, weet niet of ze hier mines uit schoten (mag dat nog wel 75mm mines??) weet wel dat de laatste knallen hoger klommen en hard gingen...

Ik lees net dat bij navraag blijkt dat er niet groter dan 50mm candles op het plein geschoten mogen worden. Mijn onderstaande waarneming moet dan ook wel onjuist zijn, daar ik dit ook niet kan staven met foto's waar dit duidelijk op te zien is.

Voor zover ik weet mogen er nog wel 75mm mines geschoten worden, ook 100mm meen ik?!? Net zoals er nog gewoon 100mm en 125mm candles gebruikt mogen worden. (100mm candles zijn ook gebruikt bij Mascleta van 14.00 uur)

Dus shells max. 2" maar candles 'nog gewoon' 4" en 5"???

Hopelijk voeren ze die regel volgend jaar bij de castillo's dan ook door; shells tot max 7" maar candles mogen wel nog gewoon tot 12". Vrees wel dat ze dan in plaats van hoogwerkers kranen moeten laten aanrukken om die candles recht te trekken.

5 inch candles? Die heb ik nog niet eerder gezien.

Mja, daar was ik iets te enthousiast in, 5" candles niet inderdaad, ook nog niet tegen gekomen. Laten we het maar op het tijdstip van de post houden :hehe!:

4" candles zeker nog wel. Schoonmakers waren afgelopen zondag bezig met schoonmaken van het plein en bij de ingang van de kooi lag een wat grotere candle, even naartoe gelopen en gekeken: stond op vermeld dat het 4" candle was.

Fijn om te horen dat het eigenlijk alleen maar beter is geworden, begon me al een beetje zorgen te maken met al die rare opmerkingen over hogere hekken en zwarte zeilen enzo :-D
