The greater exhibition pyrotechnics of the Canary Islands and one of the majors of Spain in a single night
The Realejos is, without a doubt, one of the centers more important pyrotechnicses of Spain and Europe. Each street had its own pyrotechnics, the Teide (at the moment Toste Pyrotechnics) in the street of Means, and the Santa Barbara in the street of the Sun, until in 1990 this last one disappeared after a fatal accident. At the moment they have changed the things and the Toste Pyrotechnics represents the street of the Brother Sun and the Pyrotechnics Caballer of Valencia that represents the street Means. But what it has not changed it is the essence that always has characterized these celebrations and that are the one to venerate to the Cross welcoming, with the abiertos arms, to all those that they come every year to admire the devotion and delivery that the neighbors of both streets put in the accomplishment of unique and incomparable celebrations. The Toste Pyrotechnics is a company of familiar tradition that was founded on the Realejos with the name of Teide Pyrotechnics, in 1788, being its creator Toste Marks of the Castle, that happens of generation in generation until in 1982 it is known him by the present name. It continues maintaining the artisan character in the elaboration of fireworks and has obtained great amount of prizes that guarantee their masters and its good one for doing, like the first prize of fireworks champions of Monaco in 1993 and 1995, the second prize of the same festival in 1980, the second prize of San Sebastián in the 2000, the prize of the public in Tarragona 2003, the Arc of Europe Star of Gold to the Quality the International en1990, etc.
