[2009] Falla Plaza del Pilar

Bijna is het zover. Begin maart gaan de eerste onderdelen vanuit de diverse werkplaatsen naar hun plek van bestemming. Hiermee alvast een voorproefje van wat we kunnen gaan verwachten.

Een paar foto's van de opbouw van de Falla Plaza del Pilar. Deze Falla spreekt voor mij extra tot de verbeelding, omdat hij omgeven is door gebouwen (die er erg dichtbij staan) en daardoor eigenlijk aan het zicht onttrokken is. De Falla kan alleen bereikt worden via smalle steegjes (dat geldt ook voor de grote vrachtwagens). Dan loop je daar en ineens "Whoomp, there it is!".

De afgelopen paar dagen hebben ze niet stilgezeten bij Pilar, daarom nog wat nieuwe opbouwfoto's hieronder.

What a lovely falla!

This falla should have won according to many people. I think 2nd prize is absolutely deserved, and 1st... well Nou Campanar was a very diffrent and new style... you love it or hate it, but 2nd for this one was ok for me.

Was the first special section Falla for the artist Lafarga, who in 2008 won in 1a section. He have signed for the 2010 falla with Pilar again.

This falla is always a bit specia, has only one front, as it's surrounded by buildings in two of the four sides. But have many scenes, funny, well made..

the child falla was not at the same level, as in previous years looks like they focus their budget and efforts on the falla and don't pay too much attention to the children falla
I would say, it was just 'correct'. got 13th prize.
