Just got this from the event organizers.
The Malta International Fireworks Festival 2007 will be held on the 28th , 29th and 30th April at the Malta Grand Harbour. Malta is considered as the “island of fireworks. More than 35 fireworks factories produce their own fireworks for their annual celebrations in honour of their village’s patron saint. The Maltese Fireworks Companies are not commercial but all pyrotechnicians work on voluntary basis and fireworks is their passion.
It is well known throughout the pyro-world that certain fireworks which one can enjoy in the island of Malta are unique and that’s why it’s a must for every fireworks enthusiast or pyrotechnician to be in Malta for at least once in a lifetime.
Last year, the first Malta International fireworks festival was organised…. And this year it’s on again …. It’s a pyro musical competition – fireworks synchronised to music and the scheduled 2007 programme is as follows:
Saturday 28th April
Royal Firewoks Design International – Austria
Mount Carmel Fireworks Company – Malta
Sunday 29th April
St. Joseph Fireworks Company – Malta
Yung Feng Fireworks – China
Monday 30th April
Orzella Fireworks Company – Italy
St. Mary Fireworks Company – Malta
The event organizers are offering a very affordable and complete accommodations travel package (does not include cost of flying) designed for the fireworks enthusiast or pyrotechnician in mind (it even includes a tour of a Maltese fireworks factory). Anyway, for more details about all that is included go HERE.
